Scarecrows and Pumpkins

Hey ho!

Thanks to everyone who have been commenting on my new illustrations and adding them to your favourites. That's really nice of you.
As you can see I have a taste for the darker side of fairy tales and will be adding more paintings very soon.
I think I've lived with one foot in Hallowe'en most of my life and I get to indulge that in my art and also in the funeral punk band I sing in, Cadaver Club.
This Hallowe'en will be more special than usual as I'm getting married just a few days before it surrounded by pumpkins, corn and scarecrows.

Jerry Only Print Sale

Hey there,

I hope you're enjoying my artwork. As you can see, most of what I have available at the moment are portraits of some of my musical heroes. More will be added to this series as time goes on but but I also want to create some illustrative style paintings too. I'll be adding a new gallery soon with these paintings which will allow my dark sense of humour to show through. I hope you like them.

A Quick Hello

Hey everyone,
I've been on here for a few months now and am only just getting round to writing up a wee blog.
Thought I better officially say hello to you.

Been juggling a lot of things while getting my business up and running,as well as my website and my head's still spinning. What you will see on Deviant Art are my acrylics on canvas but it's worthwhile taking a look at my facebook page to see all the other weird and wonderful things I get up to.



One of those weird projects I'm doing at the moment involves powerhosing murals onto dirty walls. Plastered, unpainted farm buildings are the best. Once I get past the awkward stage of knocking on someone's door and complementing them on their filthy walls, the rest is fun. The nature of the medium really suits my taste for the darker things in life so I find myself depicting twisted fairytales and crows - lots of crows!

I also paint more tradional murals, album sleeves and book illustrations.



This is just a quick hello, I will post regular entries in my journal from now on and hopefully give you some insight to my peculiar little world,
